The journey of compassionate care at Nerlikar Multispeciality Hospital began on 26th January 1981. Dr. Vinayak and Dr. Shobha Nerlikar, a dedicated couple, after two years of service at Nashik Civil Hospital started a patient care centre above Vikas Theatre in Nashik.

At that time, Dr. Vinayak was the fifth Orthopedic Consultant in Nashik, a testament to his early commitment to pioneering healthcare. The endeavor continued to flourish, leading to the establishment of our first hospital on Gangapur Road on May 1, 1985. Today, patients from across the country seek treatment for de-addiction in our facility.

Both Dr. Vinayak and Dr. Shobha Nerlikar have held prestigious positions, serving as the Head of Department and Professor at Nashik Medical College. Dr. Vinayak Nerlikar also earned the honour of serving as the President of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS).

Beyond patient care, they both are actively involved in philanthropy through Rachna Trust. In memory of Madhavrao Limaye, they instituted the prestigious MLA/MP award, presented annually by the library. Under their leadership, Nerlikar Hospital and Research Centre also has a patented an Alcohol De-Addiction program, that ensure a long term and holistic recovery of the mind, body and soul.

At the age of 75 years, Dr. Vinayak has embarked on a new chapter, launching multispeciality hospital with unwavering enthusiasm. Our history is one of dedication, leadership, and a deep commitment to both medical excellence and community service.
